Overview

Email deliverability shows sending health for the selected client. Everyone can review emails sent, bounce, open, and unsubscribe rates, trend charts, recipient-provider performance, active client-owned email-domain authentication, and read-only inbox placement results for the selected date range. Public mailbox-provider domains are excluded from DNS health because they are provider infrastructure rather than client-controlled DNS. Employees also see staff-only recommendations, mailbox controls, warmup diagnostics, and, when the client has a goal row, a Volume goal card. That card measures capacity from active mailboxes linked to an active email cadence and marks a client Not running when that sending path is absent. The page is client-scoped and does not expose other clients' domains, mailboxes, or fleet controls. Use the Sending domain selector to isolate sending and warmup activity to one client-owned domain. Bounce and unsubscribe records do not retain sender-domain attribution, so those metrics show as unavailable for a selected domain and remain complete under All Domains. Employees choose an eligible active Google Sender or Primary mailbox before starting a new placement test, so the result is tied to the mailbox they selected.

How to use this page

  1. Select the client

Employees choose a client in the Client Switcher before opening this page. The dashboard then shows only that client's sending health. Client users see their own account and cannot switch into another client's data.

  2. Choose a date range

Use 7d, 30d, or 90d, or choose From and To dates. The totals, provider breakdown, and charts reload for the selected window. The footer identifies the displayed dates in UTC. When sending domains are available, use the Sending domain selector beside the range controls to narrow the dashboard.

  3. Filter by sending domain

If the selected client has sending domains, choose one from the Sending domain selector. The page reloads sending and warmup totals, provider performance, and trend data for that domain. If no activity exists in the chosen range, the page says so. Bounce and unsubscribe metrics remain available only under All Domains because their records do not store the sending mailbox domain.

  4. Read the sending-health KPIs

Review Emails sent, Bounce rate, Open rate, Unsub rate, and Mailboxes. Bounce rate uses a 3% danger threshold and the page shows the bounced count; open and unsubscribe rates include their counts. Employees also see Warmup spam, while client users see the outcome metrics without internal warmup diagnostics. With a selected sending domain, bounce and unsubscribe metrics may show n/a because those records do not retain the sender domain; choose All Domains for complete totals.

  5. Read the trend charts

Sending volume shows emails per day. Bounces & unsubscribes shows the lower-is-better counts. Engagement shows distinct opens per day, and Bounce rate over time plots the rate against the 3% limit.

  6. Compare recipient providers

Where you're landing, by recipient provider shows how volume splits across providers detected from recipient-domain MX records. Each provider row shows share of sends, send count, bounce rate, and open rate.

  7. Check email-domain authentication

Authentication & DNS health summarizes SPF, DMARC protected, and DKIM detected across the selected client's active, client-owned email domains. Public mailbox-provider domains are excluded because they are provider infrastructure rather than client-controlled DNS. The domain table shows each domain's role, setup state, and authentication result. A pending scan is shown when checks have not completed; DMARC Monitor only means a policy of none is detected.

  8. Review inbox placement results

The Inbox placement test panel reports where tagged probes landed in Google seed inboxes: Primary, a tab, Spam, or Not delivered. Results include the Primary inbox percentage and per-seed statuses. Employees can run a test from the selected client's mailbox; client users can review available results but do not see the run control or mailbox sender address. Before starting a new employee-run test, choose a mailbox in Test mailbox. The list contains active Google Sender and Primary mailboxes for the selected client, and the selected address is used for the tagged probes.

  9. Use staff-only controls

Employees may see a Volume goal card, Recommended actions, and mailbox-level reputation actions. The Volume goal card shows Weekly goal, Pace / wk, Linked max / wk, Lost to pauses / day, and Pace versus goal and Capacity versus goal bars. Its capacity uses active mailboxes linked to an active email cadence. If that running path is absent, the card status is Not running. These controls can change sending capacity or pause a mailbox, so they are hidden from client users. The client page never shows the fleet Auto-Throttle tabs or another client's data.

  10. Recover from a load error

If the dashboard cannot load, it shows the error and a Retry button. Click Retry to request the same date range again. A loading spinner appears while a range change or retry is in progress.

What the buttons do

7d / 30d / 90d
Loads a preset date window for the selected client's deliverability data.
From / To dates
Sets a custom date window. Choosing either date switches off the preset pills and reloads the dashboard.
Authentication & DNS health
Read-only summary of SPF, DMARC protected, and DKIM detected across the selected client's active, client-owned email domains. Public mailbox-provider domains are not included because they are not client-owned DNS.
Inbox placement test
Shows Primary, tab, Spam, and Not delivered results from tagged probes. Employees can run a new test; client users can review results when available.
Run placement test (employees)
Starts a tagged inbox placement test from the selected eligible Google Sender or Primary mailbox and polls for seed-inbox results. This control is hidden from client users.
Recommended actions (employees)
Staff-only recommendations for mailbox, domain, or list health. Any action is shown with its suggested lever and confirmation state.
Volume goal card (employees)
Staff-only summary of the selected client's weekly goal, 7-day pace, active linked mailbox maximum, and capacity affected by paused mailboxes. It shows Not running when no active cadence has an active linked sending mailbox.
Retry
Refetches the current date range after a load error.
Sending domain
Filters deliverability activity to one available sending domain, or use All Domains for the complete client totals and metrics without sender-domain attribution limits.
Test mailbox
Selects the active Google Sender or Primary mailbox that an employee-run placement test will use.

Common questions

Only the selected client's data. Employees select a client from the Client Switcher; client users see their own account and cannot request another client's view.
The bounce-rate chart marks 3% as the danger threshold. A rate at or above that line is a reputation risk and should be reviewed by the SalesHive team.
They show whether the selected client's active, client-owned email domains have the expected authentication signals. Pending scan means the domain has not been checked yet; DMARC Monitor only means the domain is using a none policy rather than enforcement.
Public mailbox providers such as Gmail, Yahoo, and Outlook own their provider infrastructure, so they are not client-controlled sending-domain DNS. The dashboard excludes those domains so SPF, DMARC, and DKIM results represent domains the selected client can configure.
The page gives clients domain-level setup and authentication outcomes for client-owned domains without exposing internal mailbox addresses or capacity controls. Employees may see additional staff-only mailbox diagnostics for the selected client.
No. Client users can review available placement outcomes in the read-only panel. The Run placement test control is reserved for employees because it sends tagged probes from a mailbox.
Those are internal deliverability diagnostics and capacity controls, so they appear to employees only. Client users still see sending, engagement, provider, domain-authentication, and available placement outcomes.
It means the selected client has no active email cadence with an active, linked Sender or Primary mailbox. The card keeps the client visible but does not treat that missing running path as usable linked capacity.
No completed placement test has been returned for the selected client, or a test has not finished. Employees can run a test; the panel updates while it reads the seed inboxes.
No. This page is scoped to one client. Fleet-wide Volume Goals, Auto-Throttle, and cross-client controls remain on the internal fleet Deliverability page at /crm/operations/deliverability.
The dashboard narrows sending and warmup activity, provider results, and trend charts to the selected domain. If the domain has no activity in the range, the page shows that clearly. Bounce and unsubscribe records do not store sender-domain attribution, so those metrics show n/a for a selected domain; All Domains retains the complete totals.
Employees choose from the selected client's active Google Sender and Primary Google mailboxes in the Test mailbox selector. The chosen address sends the tagged probes. Client users can review results but cannot start a test.
